Scheduled Tasks in ChatGPT
ChatGPT introduces Scheduled tasks that can be run periodically at certain times, and it will notify you when the task is done. You can use this feature to stay up to date by asking ChatGPT to generate a quick news summary every morning for example.
Note that this feature is not currently supported in all countries.
Stimulation Clicker
Stimulation Clicker is a new clicker game by Neal.fun that will stimulate your brain to its peak, it works by clicking a button and collecting stimulation points to buy things that will stimulate your brain (e.g a lofi study music, a video of Subway game, etc.)

“#freeJavaScript” is a movement by the javascript community against Oracle’s refusal to relinquish its trademark over the term “JavaScript.” This issue has resurfaced because Oracle continues to maintain its hold on the trademark, despite not actively contributing to the JavaScript ecosystem.
Like most JavaScript developers Oracle is the last thing to come to my mind when hearing javascript.

DeepSeek R1
DeepSeek, the Chinese AI company is beating OpenAI’s o1 model with their new R1 model at a fraction of OpenAi’s cost (as they claimed) and releasing it for free which performs better than ChatGPT’s 200$ per month o1 model.
This model is not only free but open source too. It uses pure Reinforcement Learning (RL) for training which helped DeepSeek-R1 to develop independent reasoning abilities.
But What is Reinforcement Learning?
Reinforcement Learning work Like teaching a kid:
- they Experiment
- earn rewards or face penalties
- and grow through experience.
This training method is ideal for applications like Game AIs.
TikTok Trae IDE
ByteDance, the Chinese company behind TikTok released a new Cursor IDE (Integrated Development Environment) competitor called Trae, which was built on top of VS Code with powerful AI features to help you code and ship fast entirely for FREE.
Trae is only available on macOS for now with a Windows version under development.
EAS Hosting
Expo has launched Expo Application Services EAS Hosting which makes deploying mobile backends easier.
With EAS you can submit your app binaries to the Apple App Store without requiring macOS from any operating system.

React Animation API
Reactjs is working on a new experimental animation API, It is React’s first animation API that uses <ViewTransitions /> to make working with modern Web View Transitions API easier for React devs.

pnpm 10
pnpm v10 comes with some nice updates including:
- Dependencies’ lifecycle scripts are no longer executed during installation by default.
- The pnpm link command now adds overrides to the root package.json.
- All hashing algorithms were updated to SHA256 to enhance security and consistency for hashing inside node_modules/.pnpm, lockfile keys, and more.
Node 22.13 type striping
Node 22.13 can run typescript code directly without prior transpilation by removing its type annotations and running it as plain JavaScript.
This eliminates the need for another build step to transpile typescript into javascript.
Bun 1.2
Bun, the javascript runtime brings massive features with the release of Bun 1.2, including:
- a major update on Bun’s progress toward Node.js compatibility
- a built-in S3 object storage API: Bun.s3
- a built-in Postgres client: Bun.sql (with MySQL coming soon)

President Donald Trump launched a meme coin called $TRUMP that people call “Hawk Tuah 2.0” on the Internet. This coin reached a peak price of approximately $75 and quickly dropped to 35$ which raises some concerns among investors.
